Terms of Service

Last updated: June 9, 2026

These terms govern your use of Vallhund. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you are using Vallhund on behalf of an organization, you agree on its behalf.

1. The service

Vallhund is an agentless, read-only security watchdog. It derives friend-or-foe and actionability signals from the telemetry and configuration you connect, and it never sits in your data path. Vallhund surfaces signals from the data available to it. It does not guarantee detection of every threat and is not a substitute for your own security program.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract to use the service.

3. Connections and your responsibilities

When you connect a source, you represent that you own it or are authorized to connect it and to grant the access you provide. Use least-privilege, read-only credentials wherever possible. You remain responsible for the systems you connect and for complying with their terms and applicable law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • connect sources you do not own or are not authorized to monitor;
  • use the service to attack, probe, or surveil systems without authorization;
  • resell, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service or its security;
  • use the service in violation of any applicable law.

5. Plans, fees, and billing

Paid plans bill in advance through our payment processor on a recurring basis until canceled. You may cancel at any time, and access continues through the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. A single subscription covers both Vallhund and Swerver: one plan, both products.

6. Intellectual property

We own the service, including its software and brand. You own your data and the derived findings for your account. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate and improve the service for you.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will detect all threats, or that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. It barks at the door; it does not promise to catch every intruder.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from a security incident on systems you connect. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or to protect the service. On termination, your data may be deleted; you can also delete it yourself in the app at any time.

10. Changes

We may change the service or these terms. For material changes we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
